The Chairman of a jewellery company, Mr Fu, and the company manager, Ms Lau, presented tapestry flags to Chief Inspector (Investigation) Leung Lap and officers from the District Investigation Team 6 of Sau Mau Ping District (DIT 6 SMPDIST) on November 24 in recognition of their swift action and professionalism in detecting a theft case.

After the manager found earlier that a diamond had been stolen, she reported the case to the Force. The officers from DIT 6 SMPDIST identified a suspect through closed-circuit television footage, and then arrested the suspect and recovered the diamond.
