New Territories North (NTN) Region held its Sports Day on December 1 to promote a healthy lifestyle among Force members. More than 500 participants competed in eight events, such as badminton, football, basketball, tug-of-war, relay run and fun games.


NTN Regional Commander Kwok Ho-fai cheered for the participants in a number of final matches. After vigorous competition, the trophies for the Major and Minor Formation Champions went to Border District and Crime NTN respectively.


Meanwhile, Kowloon West (KW) Regional Sports Day was rounded off at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on November 24. Over 400 athletes turned up for about 10 events, including running, ball games, badminton and tug-of-war. Kowloon City District emerged as the Overall Champion whereas Operations KW was the Minor Formation Champion and captured a trophy for fun games.


KW Regional Commander Cheuk Hau-yip was pleased to see officers sparing time for the Sports Day. He encouraged them to continue pursuing a healthy lifestyle by taking part in sports activities.
