KM talks to broaden officers' horizon

To keep officers updated of the newly enacted legislation, the Police College invited representatives of Private Columbaria Affairs Office of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department and Superintendent Cheng Wai-kin of Support Wing to deliver a talk on the policy and enforcement issues of the Private Columbaria Ordinance (PCO) which has taken effect from June 30, 2017. Many frontline officers attended the talk to gain a better understanding of the role of the Force in enforcing the PCO.

In another knowledge management (KM) activity under the Intellectual 40m series on December 14, Director of Clinical Genetics Service from Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital Dr Lam Tak-sum gave a presentation on the relationship among health, diseases, genes and environment. He also shared case studies on genetic disorder and mutations. The talk broadened the horizon of officers.
