Kowloon City District Fight Crime Committee (DFCC) and Kowloon City District (KCDIST) presented KCDIST Outstanding Police Officers Awards 2017 to 20 outstanding officers on December 16 in appreciation of their excellent performance. The DFCC also awarded four citizens who had assisted the Force to arrest criminals, reflecting the importance of police-community co-operation.

The outstanding officers were selected by public and internal nominations. They performed in excellence throughout the year, repeatedly detected crime cases and won acclaim from their supervisors.
