The Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) hosted a Badminton Friendly Match with the Royal Navy and Royal Marines of the United Kingdom (UK) at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on December 4. Led by Lieutenant Mr Adam Leveridge, the UK sent 11 players for the match, with some of them being elite players.

After the kick-off of the match by Chairman of the Hong Kong Police Badminton Club Hui Chun-tak, the UK players displayed high standard of badminton skills in the course of attack and defence. After vigorous competition, the HKPF narrowly won the match by 9 to 7. This is a precious opportunity to foster mutual relationship.

Earlier on November 24, the Police Badminton Team retained the championship in the team competition and the senior officers' competition of the Disciplined Services Badminton Tournament 2017 under the leadership of Mr Hui at the Disciplined Services Sports and Recreation Club. The Force players also secured the position of the first runner-up in the open double individual event.
