A delegation of eight woman officers of Tango Company went to Kuala Lumpur between February 5 and 8 to exchange views with their counterparts in the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) about tactics in handling public events.

Led by TANGO Company Commander Sum Ching-fun, the delegates visited the Woman Detachment of the Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) of the RMP as well as other Police formations in the city. Officers in the Woman Detachment, performing similar functions as the TANGO Company, assist other troops of the FRU in handling riots and public events. The Force delegates learned how the Woman Detachment made good application of different equipment to deal with public disorder.

The visit not only enabled the delegates to get a better understanding of RMP's capability in tackling riots, but also fostered fruitful exchange between the delegates and their counterparts.
