A group of volunteers from the Police Tactical Unit C Company (PTU C COY) expressed concern for singleton elderly and low-income families in a Share-To-Care Volunteer Campaign on January 28. Organised by the Agency for Volunteer Service, the campaign fostered a caring culture and the police volunteers had raised over $5,000 for people in need.

After attending a pledge ceremony, the police volunteers paid home visits to some singleton elders. Apart from giving out gift packs, the volunteers disseminated crime prevention messages to the elders and encouraged them to join the Senior Police Call. Commander of PTU C COY Chan Siu-ming and Second-In-Charge Tsang Chiu-fo hailed the campaign as a good networking opportunity with the needy in the community.
