The Junior School of Journalism of the Renmin University of China organised a cultural exchange for 40 Mainland students to Hong Kong in February. The students, aged 10 to 15, visited law enforcement agencies to obtain first-hand information on their work.

The students, guided by Police Community Relations Officer of Shatin District Sean Lin and Shatin Junior Police Call members, visited Ma On Shan Police Station on February 6 to tour the report room and take a look at police vehicles and the equipment used by frontline officers. The youngsters showed a keen interest in what they saw and asked a lot questions about the Force's duties and the relevant laws. Many of them indicated that the visit gave them a better picture of the law enforcement work of the Hong Kong Police Force.
