A representative of a travel agent, Ms Yuen, presented pennants to Chief Superintendent Chan Wing-on, Senior Superintendent Law Yuet-wing, Superintendent Swalikh Mohammed and officers of Technology Crime Division of Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) on February 9 in recognition of their professionalism in handling a blackmail case.


On November 6, 2017, the travel agent found that its database, which contained the personal data and credit card information of customers, was hacked and the hacker demanded a ransom. Officers of CSTCB looked into the case and swiftly recovered the lost data, enabling the travel agent to resume business.
