The Emergency Unit of New Territories South (EU NTS) conducted a counter-terrorism (CT) exercise, codenamed "UNISTAR", at AsiaWorld-Expo on March 19, with nearly 300 officers from EU NTS, Police Tactical Unit A Company, Airport Security Unit and Airport District taking part in the event.

The exercise simulated an attack by armed terrorists against fans queuing up to enter a concert hall. It provided an opportunity for frontline officers to exercise immediate response actions and tactical intervention skills and for field commanders to test their tactical command skills and decision-making capabilities in a very dynamic environment. The event was held smoothly with the collaboration of AsiaWorld-Expo Management Limited.
