Police Constables (PCs) Chow Wai-yan and Fung Kai-him attended a programme on "Frontline: Developing Future Leaders" at the Australian Institute of Police Management in Manly from April 30 to May 4. This was the second time that the Police College made arrangements for PCs to attend the programme. This showed the Force's initiative to provide more overseas training opportunities for junior police officers (JPOs).

Sixteen officers from law enforcement agencies in Australia and Hong Kong engaged in interactive discussions and made presentations on strategic management. With an intensive and challenging curriculum, the programme aimed to enhance the participants' leadership skills to face challenges.

The two PCs found the programme inspiring, adding that it has strengthened their professional competences in policing, leadership and management.
