Senior Superintendent Law Yuet-wing led some 20 officers from the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB), Regional Technology Crime Units and the Technology Crime Initial Response Cadre (TCIRU) to visit Shenzhen on June 7. They made use of the opportunity to exchange work experience with officers of Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau (PSB) and professionals of the cyber technology industry.


The delegates visited Huawei Technologies Company Limited, at which both sides shared their experience and strategies on using big data in policing. Then they went to Surfilter Network Technology Company Limited where they learned about the latest cyber security technology on the Mainland and discussed with experts about e-Security Audit.


Afterwards, the delegation called on a cyber investigation team of the PSB to get a first-hand understanding of their cyber incident response mechanism and tour their facilities. They also talked with public security officers about their experience in detecting cyber crime and maintaining cyber security.
