CSP OCTB's Exit Debriefing with live broadcast

In the Senior Leaders' Exit Debriefing Series on August 16, Chief Superintendent of the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau (CSP OCTB) Man Tat-shing shared with over 100 officers his invaluable criminal investigation experience before his retirement.

Mr Man talked about a number of memorable and major crime cases handled by him in his 30-year-long career. He stressed the importance of readiness and preparedness of officers in facing upcoming challenges. He also emphasised that the transfer of knowledge, skills and experience is of paramount importance to crime investigators. To conclude his sharing, Mr Man quoted a popular Chinese proverb, "It takes a good blacksmith to make good steel", to encourage the audience to strive for continuous self-improvement even in times of ease. The sharing was indeed inspiring and the participants were impressed by Mr Man's mottos.

The sharing took place in the smart workplace of the Police College - "The Pillar", which is specifically designed for innovative activities. To let more officers, especially crime officers, benefit from this sharing, the Police College pioneered the live broadcast of the debriefing session to over 40 officers at the Detective Training Centre in Lei Muk Shue.
