Fifteen non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) families took part in a NEC Family Fun Day planned by Western District Junior Police Call Council and organised by the Police Community Relations Office (PCRO) of Western District on September 22.

Some JPC members established communication and mutual trust with the NEC participants through ice-breaking and team games. The JPC members also taught the NEC families to make snowy mooncakes. The activity fostered parent-child relationship of the NEC participants and increased their understanding of Chinese culture. At the same time, it reminded JPC members to pay respect for different cultures to build a harmonious and inclusive society.

Meanwhile, PCRO officers held an anti-crime talk to disseminate crime prevention messages and foster community liaison.
