Inter-Forces Games reinforce friendship & partnership

The Force hosted the Singapore Police Force (SPF) - Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) - Macao Judiciary Police (MJP) Inter-Forces Games between October 12 and 15 for strengthening friendship, partnership and sports exchange. Eighty-nine HKPF athletes competed with their Singapore and Macao counterparts in badminton, dragon boat and football matches.

Commissioner Lo Wai-chung, Chairman of the Police Sports Council Cheuk Hau-yip and Vice Chairman Kwok Ka-chuen were on hand to cheer on the HKPF athletes. After a series of hotly contested matches, the HKPF athletes defended the championship in badminton and soccer events, and took the first runner-up place in the dragon boat race.

On October 14, the HKPF held a celebration dinner and prize presentation ceremony, in which Commissioner Lo thanked the visiting teams for supporting the games. Together with Commissioner of SPF Hoong Wee-teck and Director of MJP Sit Chong-meng, Commissioner Lo presented the overall champion trophy of the Inter-Forces Games to the HKPF.
