Members of the Police Badminton Club (PBC) showed exemplary performance in the Corporate Games 2018 between May and September. The biennial sports event was organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department with the aim of encouraging employees of private and public organisations to exercise regularly and strengthening team spirit and a sense of belonging to their organisations.

Force players won a victory over strong competitors and took the team championship. Police Constables (PCs) Chan Kwan-siu and Yip Pui-shan came first in men's singles and women's singles respectively while PCs Chow Lok-yi and Lui Hiu-ying clinched the championship of women's doubles.

Earlier on August 19, Chairman of PBC Mr Chan Tung led 15 members to join a friendly game with the Craigengower Cricket Club (CCC) in Happy Valley. After 15 exciting matches, Vice-President of CCC Dr Stephen Wong presented a certificate of appreciation to the PBC players, conveying his wish that their friendship would last forever and the teams would exchange badminton skills again.
