Recruitment Division (RECDIV) has implemented the Police Mentorship Programme (PMP) and the Police Mentorship Programme Outreach (PMPO) to facilitate the personal development of Hong Kong students and inspire them to join the Force as Probationary Inspectors after graduation.
Students joining the PMP and PMPO as mentees will be given opportunities to enrich their understanding of the Force through a variety of activities including visits to police units, leadership workshops and summer internship at different police formations and units. Police mentors will share with mentees their knowledge and experience as well as the challenges they face.
The PMP and the PMPO are now open for applications. Details are as follows:
PMP
Full-time non-final year undergraduates from the following 11 local universities are welcome to join the PMP 2020/21. The deadline for application is March 28, 2020.

(4) Lingnan University
(5) The Chinese University of Hong Kong
(6) The Education University of Hong Kong
(7) The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong
(8) The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
(9) The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
(10) The Open University of Hong Kong
(11) The University of Hong Kong
PMPO
Hong Kong students who are studying in mainland or overseas tertiary institutions; or Hong Kong graduates who have graduated from mainland or overseas tertiary institutions for not more than two years are welcome to join the PMPO.
