My name is Ah Lik, I am an officer of Tsuen Wan Line 2 of Railway District (RAILDIST). On May 22, while I was on patrol with my team members, we noticed that an elderly man, aged about 80, was wandering in Kwai Fong MTR Station alone. He looked dazed and could not answer our questions coherently. From our observation, we believed that he had already left home for quite a while, so we brought him to the Police Facility Room in the station. The elderly man had no physical discomfort but he could not remember his family members’ phone numbers. He only told us that he lived in Tsuen Wan. After further investigation, we found his resident card and a hospital receipt. After much effort, we managed to obtain his family’s contact details. Finally, the elderly man reunited with his family, and I was deeply touched when they embraced.

Recently, the family members of the elderly man wrote us an appreciation letter, to praise the Force for caring for the elderly man. The affirmation and praise from the citizens bring us strong satisfaction. We will continue to care for citizens with dedication and serve the community with professionalism.
