The Police Public Relations Branch and the Fire Services Department (FSD) jointly organised the fifth Cross-disciplined Forces Training Programme for Ethnic Minority Youth at the Fire and Ambulance Services Academy on December 29, 2021. Officers from the Correctional Services Department, the Customs and Excise Department, the Government Flying Service, the Immigration Department, the Auxiliary Medical Service and the Civil Aid Service also took part in the programme. Due to the epidemic, the programme was held in the form of a day camp and attracted the participation of 50 ethnic minority youngsters.

The programme provided disciplinary, physical and team-building training to help ethnic minority youngsters to integrate into society and encourage them to strive for their goals. The participants took part in a mock physical fitness test for FSD applicants, visited the Fire and Ambulance Services Education Centre cum Museum, and experienced firefighting. Representatives of the disciplined forces also introduced the scope of their work and the entry requirements of various posts to enable the participants to start their life planning early and build positive values, thereby nurturing them to become youth leaders and crime-fighting partners.
