To raise their awareness of deception and increase their knowledge about different scam varieties among members of the non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) communities, Lantau District (LTDIST) launched an anti-deception publicity campaign at Masjid Ismail in Tung Chung on May 27. NEC volunteers from Project One World were invited to join the event. Thanks to their enthusiastic assistance, the campaign proceeded successfully in the Urdu language.

The officers also asked these NEC volunteers to make a crime-prevention publicity video in Urdu, reminding NEC residents that the original copy of a valid Lantau Closed Road Permit issued by the Transport Department is required for drivers entering the closed roads on Lantau Island in their vehicles.
