The Emergency Unit (EU) of Hong Kong Island (HKI) organised the first “Operations Wing (OPS) HKI Comprehensive Tactics Challenge” at the Tactical Training Complex of the Police College on June 11. Officers from EU HKI and Police Tactical Unit (PTU) E Company competed in three exciting events, namely team-building, range event and close-quarters battle, to test their teamwork, shooting skills and tactic application respectively.

This communication activity in the form of a competitive challenge aimed to enhance frontline officers’ counter-terrorism awareness and tactical capability, as well as the coordination and communication among units.
