During the fifth wave of the epidemic over the past few months, the Senior Police Call (SPC) and the Junior Police Call (JPC) participated actively in anti-epidemic volunteer services, which included distributing supplies to the families of grassroots teenagers and children and assisting the Home Affairs Bureau (HAB) in packaging and handing out “Anti-epidemic Service Bags”. To express its gratitude to the volunteers, the HAB held an award presentation ceremony on June 2 to present certificates of appreciation to the representatives of volunteers from various sectors. Members of SPC and JPC were also invited by the Youth Anti-Coronavirus Link to attend a ceremony held on June 12 commending individuals and organisations for their anti-coronavirus efforts. The certificates of appreciation awarded to the SPC and JPC members highlighted their contributions to the fight against the epidemic and the spirit of harmony between the elderly and the young.
