The Junior Police Call of Sau Mau Ping District (SMPDIST), together with a sailing training institute, initiated a beginners’ course of the Sailing Leadership Training Programme between May and June. The graduation ceremony of the course held on June 5 was attended by Regional Commander of Kowloon East Dr Law Yuet-wing, District Commander of SMPDIST Tse Tsui-yan, Deputy District Commander (DDC) of SMPDIST Justin Shave, Police Community Relations Officer of SMPDIST Tam Man-hoi, and members of SMPDIST JPC Honorary Presidents Council. DDC of SMPDIST got on the vessel to train with the trainees. In the ceremony, the graduates shared what they had learned and expressed their gratitude for having the opportunity to join sailing as a sport.
