Complaints Against Police Office (CAPO), in collaboration with Information Systems Wing, launched the interactive data analysis tool - CAPO Smart Analysis, for analysing complaints against the police in January.


CAPO Smart Analysis, the new e-platform, updates figures monthly to allow supervisory officers to obtain up-to-date complaint figures instantly and gain insight from the trend of complaints easily. By just a few clicks to select criteria, such as formation, time period, nature of duty, etc., officers can have a quick glance of relevant statistics for analysis. The comprehensive analysis on the complainee’s profile, including their rank, age and length of service, may also assist supervisors to enhance the effectiveness of the prevention measures against complaints.


All figures are displayed through interactive graphs and charts to facilitate officers using the graphics in presentations and reports. CAPO Smart Analysis effectively helps frontline management officers identify prevalent issues leading to complaints and improve the Force’s overall service quality.
