Director of Personnel and Training Choi Chin-pang led a 4–member delegation comprising officers from Hong Kong Police College and Human Resources Branch of Personnel Wing to pay a courtesy visit to Beijing between March 26 and 29 to discuss with Mainland authorities and training agencies on full resumption of the Force’s training groups going to the Mainland for exchange and studies.


The delegation visited six Mainland authorities, including Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), Personnel and Training Bureau of the MPS, Police Association of China, People’s Public Security University of China, Beijing Police College and Tsinghua University. During the visit, all sides recognised the success of the study groups held by the Hong Kong Police Force over the years. The delegation also explored means to enhance and optimise the contents and efficacy of the training programmes. The delegation also met with the management of Tsinghua University with a view to furthering the collaboration on the Executive Master in Public Administration Programme. Both sides looked forward to continuing close partnership.
