With the assistance of Honorary Advisor of Police College and Chief Executive Officer of the Haven of Hope Christian Service Dr Lam Ching-choi, the Police Museum lent the artefacts to TKO Heritage Post for the first time on April 19. The curator of TKO Heritage Post took over the artefacts on the same day and would arrange an exhibition of the curation.

This is the first cooperation between the Police College and TKO Heritage Post. 12 items of the artefacts of the Police Museum, including a report book in the last century, a notice at the police station report room in 1960s, a notice to prisoners, old-style riot equipment, a rotary telephone and an old-fashioned typewriter, have been lent to TKO Heritage Post for special exhibition. The Police College will continue to explore further collaborations with other agencies or non-profit making organisations for interaction with the public and telling the good stories of Hong Kong through the artefacts.

TKO Heritage Post is a project under the Signature Project Scheme jointly organised by the Home Affairs Department, Sai Kung District Council and Haven of Hope Christian Service to refurbish the former Tiu Keng Leng Police Station into a Heritage Information Centre for visitors to learn about the unique development history of Tseung Kwan O.
