To effectively facilitate frontline property management officers and security personnel getting hold of anti-crime messages and expanding communication channels between the stakeholders and the Force, Regional Commander of New Territories South (NTS) Mak Chin-ho, together with the District Commanders in the Region, held a luncheon meeting with Chairman of the Hong Kong Association of Property Services Agents (HKAPSA) Mr Poon Kin-leung and representatives of HKAPSA on May 3. The recent crime trends were briefed at the meeting.

There has been a downward trend in illegal debt-collection activities in NTS in the first quarter of this year when compared with the situation in the fourth quarter of last year. During the meeting, the Force commended HKAPSA for actively encouraging its frontline members, who served in the frontline of crime prevention for the citizens, to share crime-related information with the Force through instant messaging app. The Force also expressed gratitude to the HKAPSA and its members for their hard work and full support to the Force amid the epidemic.
