SBDIV


Small Boat Division (SBDIV) held its Family Day on April 29 to promote healthy family life and deepen the knowledge of the colleagues’ family members about the work of Marine Region. The Family Day attracted over 250 SBDIV serving and former colleagues and their family members. The Family Day featured SBDIV craft introduction, equipment demonstration and simulated selection etc. to enable the colleagues’ families to grasp the duties and challenges of SBDIV. The Police Arts Club and Police Dog Unit were also invited to make balloons and perform respectively, creating a lively day for all participants.


OPS NTN


The Operations Wing of New Territories North (OPS NTN) organised two Family Days on May 7 and 20 for family members of officers to gain a deeper understanding of policing duties. The event attracted participation of over 900 family members of the officers. Themed “Thank You, My Family”, the Family Days were packed with activities, including show kit demonstrations by Police Tactical Unit (PTU), Emergency Unit (EU) and Quick Reaction Force, as well as the tactical bus, electric tricycle and Armoured Personnel Carrier Sabertooth. There were also EU drills, interaction with police dogs, children’s police uniform photo-taking session and booth games. The Junior Police Call and Senior Police Call of Tai Po District also set up booths, while the Mobile Education Truck of the Inter-departmental Counter Terrorism Unit also came to the venue. The events enabled the officers and their family members to enjoy a family day and strengthened the officers’ sense of pride and belonging.
