The Police College (the College) was committed to professional accreditation and quality assurance in training last year. In addition to its active participation in local, regional and international exchange conferences, the College was granted various awards that affirmed its achievements.
• In May 2023, the College was awarded as the Qualifications Framework (QF) in Action Achiever 2022 by the Education Bureau to signify the College being a good sample in applying the QF elements (seven-level hierarchy) in 2021-2022.
• In June 2023, the College sent officers to attend the 17th Biennial Conference of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education held in Kazakhstan. Over 200 participants representing 58 regions joined the conference to discuss how to ensure the quality and development of higher education. The paper on the College’s quality training and development written by Superintendent of Learning Services Division of the College Chik Ka-man was selected for presentation during the conference.
• In November 2023, the College was granted the Best/Model Internal Quality Assurance Award by the Asia-Pacific Quality Network. The award was intended to identify quality assurance samples that had potential of replication in the Asia-Pacific area. The award affirmed the College’s commitments to establishing the culture and system for quality assurance.
