The Force set up a booth at the Education and Careers Expo 2024 held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre between January 25 and 28 to provide the latest recruitment information. It was also the first time that on-site interview sessions were conducted at the expo to facilitate the public applying to join the Force.

At the Recruitment Emergency Unit Car set up at the booth, there were sessions in which visitors interested in joining the Force attended on-site group interview for police constable (PC). Participants who successfully passed the interview could be exempted from relevant assessment should they apply to join the Force within three months. Moreover, officers from various elite Formations and volunteer secondary duty cadres introduced their equipment and daily work. Officers of the Recruitment Division were also present to answer enquiries and accept applications. The response to the event was very positive, with around 200 people making application and over 100 people attending the group interview for PC on the spot.
