The Auxiliary Support Bureau (AUX SUP) and Police Community Relations Office of Tai Po District (TPDIST) organised a joint auxiliary officers recruitment and anti-deception seminar at The Education University of Hong Kong on January 15, attracting about 800 freshmen. Superintendent of AUX SUP Ng May-mey introduced the Auxiliary Undergraduate Scheme and its benefits in enhancing personal development to the attendees. Acting Police Community Relations Officer of TPDIST Wong Ka-wing outlined the recent crime trends and prevalent modus operandi of deception cases to raise the undergraduates’ anti-deception awareness.
