With the assistance of the SILVERSHIELD ambassadors outreach teams, anti-scam promotional game booths were set up respectively at the Intergenerational Digital Inclusion Community Programme Carnival of the Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB), the West Kowloon CHILL RUN Winter Market Anti-Scam Charity Run 2023 and the Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo, all held in December 2023. Two SILVERSHIELD ambassadors from the Central District Senior Police Call, with the assistance of officers from the Commercial Crime Bureau, gave talks on knowledge of fraud prevention to over 300 attendees at HKAB’s Carnival.

Since the launch of Project SILVERSHIELD in June 2023, SILVERSHIELD ambassadors outreach teams have been formed with more than 20 partner organisations, including public and private organisations, uniformed groups and voluntary organisations. Anti-scam talks and publicity campaigns have been organised to bring together the efforts of different sectors of the society under the slogan “Scams are Rampant. Tell Everyone”.
