The appointment ceremony of the tenth Junior Police Call (JPC) Central Advisory Board (CAB) was held at the Police Headquarters on February 2. Commissioner Siu Chak-yee appointed the Chairperson, Vice-Chairpersons and 22 JPC CAB members.

The JPC scheme has been implemented since 1974. The first CAB was established in 2006 to secure the long-term development of the scheme. Members from different sectors of the community provide advice on the development of JPC for nurturing youngsters with a sense of social responsibility and positive values to “be a leader - fight crime together”.
