Recruitment Division (RECDIV) held the Community Outreach Recruitment Express (Fitness Chapter) at the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground on May 1, which was the first time that the police entry physical fitness test were brought to the sports ground. The event achieved remarkable success, engaging more than 1 000 citizens and attracting over 300 on-the-spot applications. Commissioner Chow Yat-ming attended the event to interact with candidates and offered encouragement.

Sessions led by elite runners from the Police Athletics Club were arranged for participants to experience the ultimate physical fitness tests of the selection process and the Police College. There were also on-site selections and exhibitions held by RECDIV, the College and several specialised units. Officers of RECDIV and the Recruitment Spokespersons were there to share insights and fitness training strategies with the general public.
