The 27th Triangular Golf Tournament was held in Singapore between April 21 and 25. The Singapore Police Force (SPF) Golfing Society hosted this session of the tournament which was joined by the delegates from the Hong Kong Police Golfing Society, Royal Thai Police Golfing Society and SPF Golfing Society. Chairman of the Hong Kong Police Golfing Society Chan Tin-chu, together with three Honorary Vice Presidents Dr Yim Yuk-lun, Mr Lee Man-yick and Mr Tong Chiew, led a 32-member delegation to compete for the awards of warm up race, the Ray Anning Plate and the Pacific Plate.


The SPF Golfing Society delegation won the Ray Anning Plate while the Royal Thai Police Golfing Society delegation won the Pacific Plate. Police Constable Tong Siu-lun won the Hong Kong team individual champion. The gala presentation dinner on April 24 provided an opportunity for the delegations of the three police forces to meet and to exchange competition tips and policing experiences.


The tournament was first held in 1992 and is hosted annually by the police golfing societies of the three police forces in turn. Elite representatives from the three police forces participate to hone their skills and to strengthen their connections and partnerships. The tournament will be held in Thailand next year.
