The ADCC and the HKFYG launched a pilot scheme in this August. With the consent of the arrested students, the Force will refer the cases to the HKFYG. Social workers will provide support services to the students and their families.

Conduct anti-scam publicity activities at tertiary institutions

In mid-August, the ADCC deployed the Little Grape & Quby-themed promotional truck to tour around 17 tertiary institutions across Hong Kong and disseminate anti-scam messages to over 4 000 students and academic staff members. The ADCC also updated the “Anti-Scam Online Learning Package”. In addition, the ADCC collaborated with stakeholders to implement a student bank account monitoring mechanism. In collaboration with AlipayHK, the ADCC launched the publicity event called “Campus Anti-Scam ‘Lemon Alliance’” in ten tertiary institutions across Hong Kong, engaging over 3 700 students with interactive booths and anti-scam quizzes.

Publicity via multimedia channels

Riding the waves of passion for the 15th National Games of the People’s Republic of China, the ADCC invited local Wushu athlete Cheng Chung-hang to star in a newly produced promotional video series broadcast in tertiary institutions, major forms of transport and the Force’s social media pages.
