Kowloon West (KW) initiated a cross-boundary student protection operation from June to August, targeting Mainland parents whose children are pursuing studies in Hong Kong. The campaign established a "Parent-School-Police” tripartite collaboration mechanism, and involved online promotion and on-site visits to disseminate anti-fraud message.

KW partnered with the Chinese Students and Scholars Association of City University of Hong Kong to play an anti-fraud video which is jointly produced by various units during the "Pre-departure briefing for studying in Hong Kong" at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. They also held cross-boundary information seminars. Additionally, KW sent officers to Shenzhen to conduct a "Pre-departure workshop for new students coming to Hong Kong" where parents were taught anti-fraud strategies.
