The Information Systems Wing (ISW) just rolled out a major upgrade to iLog in August to further enhance officers’ operational efficiency and data management capabilities. This update introduces four core enhancements that make reporting log, situation assessment and report writing smarter and more efficient, fully supporting the Force to promote digital policing.

iLog 2.0 enables frontline officers to create and manage incidents anytime using their Force’s mobile devices without geographical constraints. The system also introduces several log types and supports user-defined log types. Additionally, the optimised dashboard displays key information based on users’ need, and the interface layout has been customised for a clearer presentation of various real-time data. Also, the report generation capabilities of the system have been enhanced. Officers can quickly generate up to 22 types of reports with just one click, significantly streamlining the administrative processes.

ISW officers not only uploaded promotional and instructional videos onto the P-TV platform after the launch of the system, but also visited several units that frequently use iLog to provide briefings and gather officers’ feedback.
