The Senior Police Call (SPC) Share the Love 2025 Kick-off Ceremony cum Carnival was held on September 20 at the Police Sports and Recreation Club (PSRC), unfolding a year-long visitation activity to deliver blessing bags and care to the elderly and those in need.


Officiating guests at the ceremony included Commissioner Chow Yat-ming, Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Yip Wan-lung, Director of Operations Lui Kam-ho, Regional Commander of Marine cum Chairperson of SPC Central Advisory Board (CAB) Ng Cheuk-hang, Chief Superintendent of Public Relations Wing cum Vice-Chairperson of the SPC CAB Leung Chung-man, and SPC CAB representatives Dr Chu Chun-ho, Mr Leung Jerome-ty, and Mr Ng Sau-kei. Additionally, many members of the SPC CAB were present to show their support.


In his speech at the ceremony, the Commissioner said he always look forward to this opportunity every year to join the members of the SPC in visitation activities, spreading love and a sense of happiness to the community. After the ceremony at the PSRC, the Commissioner led the officiating guests to the Mong Kok Kai Fong Association Limited Chan Hing Social Service Centre to visit the elderly and distribute blessing bags.


The SPC Share the Love 2025 will run from the kick-off date until August next year. 22 police districts will collectively distribute over 10 000 blessing bags containing food, daily necessities, and Force promotional leaflets to those in need in their respective districts.


The Force will continue to support the Government’s elderly care policies, launch diverse activities and training to encourage the elderly to participate actively in social affairs and realise their potential.
