Superintendent of Recruitment Division Chow Tsz-tung led delegations to Guangdong and Fujian Provinces from November 3 to 7 and November 10 to 14 respectively to recruit Hong Kong students studying in south China region.

Recruitment Division also collaborated with the Police Volleyball Club (PVC) for the first time to arrange a friendly match between the men’s team and Jinan University. In addition to exchanging on the court, members of the volleyball club also introduced the work and duties of the Force to the students, encouraging aspiring young people to join the Force. Chairperson of PVC Tse Tsui-yan stated that the friendly match and recruitment exercises helped enhance the Force’s image and attract more promising new recruits.

The two recruitment exercises received over 430 applications in total, marking a record high since the launch of the Police University Recruitment Express (PURE) (Mainland) in 2022.
