Crime Wing Headquarters arranged District Investigation Team officers to go to Jakarta, Indonesia for overseas visit and visiting the Indonesian National Police (INP) from November 25 to 28, 2025. The delegation, led by Chief Inspector Wong Yat-sang, comprised two Detective Inspectors, two Detective Sergeants and 10 Detective Police Constables.
The delegation visited the International Relations Division, Indonesian National Police Museum, and Cyber Crime Investigation Directorate of INP. Officers from both sides shared skills at investigating technology crimes, as well as experience of conducting anti-scam publicity to the public. Through the visit, delegation members not only gained an in-depth understanding of the crime landscape in Indonesia and the challenges faced by the Indonesian police, but also introduced the police work of the Hong Kong Police Force to the local officers, fostering opportunities for mutual cooperation.
