To enhance law enforcement officers’ professional knowledge and skills in commercial crime investigation, the Commercial Crime Bureau organised the Commercial Crime Advanced Course from January 14 to 16. A total of 29 local officers, together with 15 overseas officers from Cambodia, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates, took part in the course.
The course emphasised good practices and its content covered the trends, regulations and development of global virtual assets and stablecoins; the utilisation of technology and big data in combatting fraud and money laundering; as well as experience sharing. The aim was to enhance trainees’ abilities to analyse and investigate complex commercial crimes.
The course provided a platform for officers from different places to exchange ideas, promoted international cooperation and partnership, and facilitated “connections to Chinese Mainland and the world”.
