The Crime Prevention Bureau (CPB), in collaboration with the Fight Crime Committee, District Fight Crime Committees, Regional Crime Prevention Offices, District Police Community Relations Offices and SafeCity Ambassadors, conducted a two-week Winter Anti-Crime Publicity Campaign from January 13 to 26. During the campaign, the Crime Prevention Promotion Truck toured across the territory. Through interactive games, crime prevention talks and distribution of souvenirs, the campaign conveyed the latest anti-crime information to the public, including advice on burglary, robbery, shop theft and deception prevention.

In addition, at the opening ceremony on January 13, CPB deployed its Smart Dog for the first time to help deliver crime prevention messages with the use of technology, aligning with the Force’s development towards smart policing.

Moreover, officers took the opportunity to introduce and promote CPB’s dedicated website SafeCity.HK, which provides the public with comprehensive, practical and up-to-date crime prevention knowledge and advice.
