The Identification Bureau (IB) has won the Platinum Award of the Testing and Certification Manpower Development Corporate Award given by the Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification for three consecutive sessions.

Chief Inspector of IB Tan Tung-fai received the award from the Permanent Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Mr Kevin Choi during the award presentation ceremony held on February 6.

As Hong Kong’s sole testing organisation specialising in fingerprint examination, IB all along upholds the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, and provides independent, impartial, and accurate fingerprint examination services to various law enforcement agencies and the judiciary. All forensic examiners and fingerprint experts within the Bureau have received rigorous internal training, embodying the Force’s commitment to manpower development and professional training.
