To enhance the capability of the Contingency Response Unit and airport security personnel in handling emergency incidents at the passenger terminal building of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), the Police Tactical Unit Headquarters (PTU HQs) organised an emergency response workshop for Aviation Security Company Limited (AVSECO) on April 10. The workshop was attended by more than 40 officers involved in the relevant roles.

The workshop included classroom lectures, case studies of overseas incidents, a simulation exercise, introduction of protective equipment and sharing of personal defense techniques.
