The Public Security Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality organised the 2026 Shenzhen Junior Police Camp Annual Drill Competition on May 17. The Junior Police Call (JPC) Headquarters foot drill team was invited to perform a ceremonial foot drill at the event, marking the first JPC performance outside Hong Kong. 39 team members, aged 9 to 20, underwent three weeks of training. On the day of the performance, the foot drill team demonstrated a high level of discipline and team spirit with synchronised formations and powerful marching postures.

JPC Leader Chan Yat-long, who had participated in the event last year, served as the flag bearer. He said the rigorous training and performance with his teammates left him with unforgettable memories and made him incredibly proud.

JPC members also engaged with members of the Shenzhen Junior Police Camp and various youth groups in Macao, sharing their experiences in foot drill training. JPC Leader Lee Winony, who led the singing of “Ode to the Motherland” alongside other youth group representatives, expressed hope for more exchange opportunities in the future to connect with trainees from different regions.
