The Police Mentorship Programme (PMP) has been dedicated to nurturing passionate young individuals aspiring to join the Force. Over the past year, the Recruitment Division (RECDIV) and PMP mentors led mentees to visit various Force units and participate in large-scale incident drills. They also organised interview preparation workshops to better prepare mentees for a police career.

The RECDIV hosted the PMP Recruitment Mega Express at the Police College on May 30 and 31. Mentees graduating this year could complete the entire selection process in a single day at one stop, making the procedure more convenient and efficient. Nearly 400 applications have been received through this year’s Recruitment Mega Express events.

In addition, to leverage technology in meeting policing demands in the digital age, the RECDIV, following the launch of the “HKPF Recruit” mobile application, digitalised the management of the selection process for the first time during the event. By digitalising administration work such as candidate registration, real-time process management, and interview assessment records, the process was further streamlined and made paperless to fully support the Force’s digital policing strategy.
