The awards presentation ceremony for the “Regional Best District Investigation Team (DIT)” and “Regional Best Duty Officer (DO) Team” under the Police Staff Motivation Scheme was held on May 21. The commendation scheme serves to reinforce a culture of professionalism, teamwork and pursuance of excellence, and enhance the overall service quality of the Force continuously. Commissioner Chow Yat-ming officiated at the ceremony, and presented certificates to the five Regional Best DITs and the five Regional Best DO Teams.


The award-winning DITs performed well in evidence gathering, intelligence analysis and teamwork, and detected several cases, fully embodying the core value with equal emphasis on professionalism, efficiency and integrity. The award-winning DO Teams handled cases efficiently in busy workplace environment, and served members of the public compassionately, fully embodying the Force’s image of service quality.
