Ease the tensions with tai chi!

The tai chi class organised by the Police Chinese Wushu Club at Tseung Kwan O Police Station since August last year has become more and more popular with both officers and civilians joining in.

Course instructor and vice-chairman of the Hong Kong Tai Chi Association Au Pui-wah has practised the traditional Chinese martial art for about 20 years and describes it as beneficial to the total well-being of the human body by improving one's circulation and fitness.

Police officers who often work in a stressful environment find it especially good for their health.

The class runs from 1 pm to 2 pm every Tuesday and all Force staff and their families are welcome to join.
