King pins: The Police Bowling Team and their winnings from the Tsuen Wan event

The Police Bowling Team white-washed the Water Supplies Department squad to take out the first Inter-Departmental Ten Pin Bowling League on June 28.

The seven-member Police team led by Traffic Kowloon West Senior Inspector Alex Chan Chi-wai, beat 20 teams from different Government Departments to take the championship.

The Tsuen Wan alley saw an excellent performance from the Police crew who also bagged an extra prize for securing the highest score for any one game.

Woman Police Constable Emily Tai Pui-shan won the Ladies' Singles while Senior Police Constable Ken Hui Fu-keung came third in the Men's Singles. Police Communications Officer Anna Pang Shui-lan scooped the award for top individual scorer in a game.

KW Traffic Superintendent Gordon To Wai-ching presented the prizes.

Meanwhile, Police bowlers skittled nine other teams in an invitation friendly league which concluded June 22, organised by the Police Sports and Recreation Club.
